Airports Security Force (ASF) Jobs 2026 — 69 Posts Under Balochistan Quota (ASI, Corporal, Drivers & Support Staff)
Airports Security Force (ASF), Government of Pakistan — Quetta, Gwadar, Turbat, Khuzdar, Panjgur & Dalbandin (Balochistan)
The Airports Security Force (ASF) has announced 69 new vacancies under the Balochistan quota for male and female candidates holding a Balochistan domicile. The recruitment covers uniformed posts — Assistant Sub Inspector, Corporal and Corporal Driver — alongside trade and support posts including Electrician, Auto Electrician, Welder, Plumber, Denter/Painter, Tailor, Cook, Waiter, Mali, Mason, Naib Qasid and Sweeper, in BPS-01 to BPS-11. The advertisement appeared in Dawn on 28 October 2026, and applications must be submitted online through the National Job Portal (njp.gov.pk) before the closing date of 11 November 2026.
This recruitment has two stages, and both matter. First, candidates apply online through the National Job Portal using the dedicated link created for this recruitment exercise. Then, candidates attend walk-in interviews from 1 to 20 November 2026 at the ASF Garrisons at Quetta, Gwadar and Turbat airports, carrying their original documents, one set of attested photocopies and four recent passport-size photographs. The age limit is 18 to 30 years, with the general 5-year relaxation already included in that band and additional relaxation for Balochistan domicile holders as printed in the advertisement. Uniformed posts carry physical standards: for males, a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches and chest of 32.75 to 34.75 inches; for females, a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches with weight as per BMI.
One honesty note about the seat count. Some roundups of this advertisement headline the total as 74 posts, but no detailed post-by-post table supports that figure: the two detailed tables that reproduce the advertisement post by post (PakVacancy and BalochJobs) agree exactly and sum to 69 seats, and a third source (blnjobs) also lists 69. This article therefore uses 69, the total the detailed tables actually add up to, and presents the itemised table exactly as printed. The closing date of 11 November 2026 should be treated as the online-application deadline, with the walk-in interview window running to 20 November 2026.

About Airports Security Force (ASF), Government of Pakistan
The Airports Security Force is Pakistan's federal force responsible for the security of airports and civil aviation facilities. Established under the Airports Security Force Act, 1975, the force guards airports across the country: its personnel control access to restricted areas, screen passengers, baggage and cargo, patrol airport perimeters and terminals, and respond to security threats and emergencies at airports. ASF personnel serve at international and domestic airports alike, from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad to Quetta, Gwadar and Turbat — the three airports named as interview venues in this recruitment.
ASF recruitment runs in two patterns. The force holds open-merit national recruitment for its uniformed cadre, and it also holds provincial-quota recruitment of the kind announced here, in which seats are reserved for domicile holders of a particular province — in this case, Balochistan. Quota recruitment matters for Balochistan candidates because it removes national competition: only Balochistan-domicile candidates compete for these 69 seats. The force's uniformed ranks run from Corporal and Assistant Sub Inspector upward, while its trade and support staff — electricians, drivers, cooks, tailors, masons and sweepers — keep airport buildings, vehicles, kitchens and workshops running behind the uniformed operation. For a Balochistan candidate, an ASF post is a federal government job with postings at airports in the home province.

Eligibility Criteria — Who Can Apply
- Balochistan domicile is compulsory — this recruitment is reserved for Balochistan-domicile candidates, male and female
- Assistant Sub Inspector (BPS-11): Intermediate or equivalent
- Corporal (BPS-07): Matric or equivalent
- Corporal Driver (BPS-05): Matric and a valid HTV/LTV driving licence
- Trade posts: Matric or Middle pass plus the trade training certificate named for the post, with 2 years of relevant experience where the advertisement requires it
- Support posts (Naib Qasid, Cook, Waiter, Mali, Mason, Sweeper): Primary pass, with 2 years of relevant experience for Waiter, Mali, Mason and Tailor
- Age limit 18 to 30 years, with the general 5-year relaxation already included in that band, plus additional relaxation for Balochistan domicile holders as printed in the advertisement
- Uniformed posts (ASI, Corporal, Corporal Driver) must meet the physical standards: males minimum height 5 feet 6 inches and chest 32.75 to 34.75 inches; females minimum height 5 feet 2 inches with weight as per BMI
- Female, minority and station-wise quotas are printed post-wise in the advertisement (for example, Corporal: Merit 26, Female 3, Minority 1; ASI: Merit 4, Female 1)
- Candidates must apply online through the National Job Portal before 11 November 2026 and then attend the walk-in interview at their nearest ASF Garrison airport
The first filter in this recruitment is domicile. All 69 seats are Balochistan-quota seats, so only candidates holding a Balochistan domicile can apply; candidates from other provinces are not eligible for this round, however strong their qualifications. Within the quota, several posts carry their own sub-quotas, and these are worth reading carefully: the Corporal post splits its 30 seats into Merit 26, Female 3 and Minority 1, the ASI post splits its 5 seats into Merit 4 and Female 1, and the Corporal Driver, Cook and Sweeper posts are split by station (Dalbandin, Panjgur, Gwadar, Khuzdar, Quetta). Apply against the post, quota and station that match your own profile, because a quota claimed without supporting proof is not counted at scrutiny.
Education is post-wise and ranges from Primary pass to Intermediate. The uniformed ladder is Intermediate for ASI and Matric for Corporal; Corporal Driver adds a valid HTV or LTV licence to Matric. Trade posts need the named trade certificate from a recognised institute, and most trade posts additionally require two years of relevant experience — Electrician, Auto Electrician, Plumber, Denter/Painter, Tailor, Waiter and Mali all carry that experience condition, so a fresh trade-certificate holder without the two years does not meet those posts. Support posts need only a Primary pass, except that Waiter, Mali and Mason also require two years of relevant experience. As a general rule in federal recruitment, only qualifications and certificates from recognised boards and institutes are accepted, and experience must be provable from documents.
Age and physical standards are the third filter, and they work differently from an ordinary departmental post. The age band is 18 to 30 years, with the general 5-year relaxation already included in that band, and the advertisement allows additional relaxation for Balochistan domicile holders as printed in it — candidates should confirm the exact relaxation arithmetic from the National Job Portal listing, because secondary reports phrase it differently. Uniformed candidates must additionally meet the physical standards at the interview: males a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches with chest 32.75 to 34.75 inches, and females a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches with weight as per BMI. A candidate who meets the education and age conditions but fails the physical standard for a uniformed post cannot be adjusted into that post, though the support and trade posts carry no such standard.
Salary & Benefits
The advertisement does not print a monthly salary figure for any post, and no rupee amount should be quoted as if it came from the advertisement. Pay follows the Basic Pay Scale of each post: BPS-11 for Assistant Sub Inspector, BPS-07 for Corporal, BPS-05 for Corporal Driver, Welder, Electrician and Auto Electrician, BPS-03 for Plumber and Denter/Painter, BPS-02 for Tailor, and BPS-01 for Naib Qasid, Cook, Waiter, Mali, Mason and Sweeper. In the federal government pay structure, each scale carries its own basic pay, which rises through annual increments and government pay revisions, and uniformed personnel additionally receive the allowances admissible under the rules in force, such as house rent, conveyance and medical allowances, along with any uniform or risk allowances attached to the force.
What is certain is the nature of the appointment: these are regular federal government posts in the Airports Security Force, so they carry the usual government service package, including pension and leave entitlements under the applicable rules, once confirmed. The exact take-home pay depends on the current pay revision, the allowances in force at the time of appointment and tax deduction. Treat any specific salary figure circulating on social media or third-party job pages as unverified unless it appears in the force's own advertisement or the appointment letter.
Selection Process
Selection has two stages. First, candidates apply online through the National Job Portal (njp.gov.pk) using the dedicated link created for this recruitment exercise, before the closing date of 11 November 2026. The online application is the registration step: without it, a candidate cannot enter the second stage. Second, candidates attend walk-in interviews from 1 to 20 November 2026 at the ASF Garrisons at Quetta, Gwadar and Turbat airports, where documents are verified against the application and uniformed candidates are measured against the physical standards. Help desks at those three garrisons, and the ASF Recruitment Helpline (021-99242578), are given in the advertisement for assistance.
Preparation guidance: complete the National Job Portal application early, because the portal can slow near deadlines and the closing date is 11 November 2026. Prepare the interview set in advance: original documents, one set of attested photocopies and four recent passport-size photographs, plus the trade certificate and experience proof for trade posts and the driving licence for Corporal Driver. Uniformed candidates should check their height and chest measurements before travelling, and every candidate should reach the garrison early in the interview window rather than on its last day, because the window runs across three airports and late arrival risks missing the relevant board.
